During 2015 the band have played at many locations raising funds for charity. At a recent rehearsal at the Connaught Leisure Centre, a presentation was made to Ashleigh Tennent who is the Community Fund Raising Manager and Mike Price, who is a volunteer at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. The total amount raised for the charity during 2015 was £2849.

On behalf of the Royal British Legion, Ian Hunter, Parade Marshall came along also to present a Certificate of Appreciation to the band for their support at Remembrance Sunday 8 November 2015 for playing incidental music during the laying of the wreaths.

At the AGM Claire Wade was presented with the trophy for Musician of the Year by the MD Roger Burke. Lyn Sandford was presented with the Bandsman of the Year Trophy, after a vote by the band was held.

Alder Valley Brass was very sad to hear of the passing of their President Ronnie Corbett OBE today. A man of great charm and warmth who brought laughter and joy to millions. He was quite simply one of the true greats of British comedy.

Ronnie Corbett became President of Alder Valley Brass in 2010 following their performances on the TV series 'The Two Ronnies'. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”

On Saturday 16th April, the band held a very successful concert at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Four Marks. The concert was very well attended and the audience listened to a very entertaining and varied programme of music.

Alder Valley Brass took part in the South West Regional Brass Band Finals in Torquay.
